An Ikea store opens its doors to stray dogs during winter

An Ikea store in Catania, has set the internet alight with its awesome initiative, and inspiring open-door policy for stray dogs.

The initiative’s purpose is to shelter the strays while it's raining outside and to protect them from freezing temperatures.

Dogs are fed, groomed and cuddled by the members of staff who have also adopted some of them.

Even customers have given some of these pooches a forever home.

Social media users have praised this demonstration of civilization.
