The Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office received a report about a dog who appeared to be in bad health and deputies were dispatched to a home on Old West Point Road in Starkville to investigate.
Deputies discovered one deceased dog and one live dog who was in poor health.
An investigation determined that 40-year-old ANDREA INEZ POOL and 42-year-old TERRY L. EWING (both pictured below), had abused the innocent furbabies.
The live dog was removed and taken to the Oktibbeha County Humane Society to be examined and treated.
POOL and EWING were arrested and charged with animal cruelty and neglect.
Online records show the pair are no longer in custody.
WCBI reports that POOL and EWING are out of jail on a $10,000 bond each.
I have emailed Sheriff Gladney to inquire about the furbaby who is now with the Oktibbeha County Humane Society.
If I get a response, I will post an update.
IF YOU DO NOT WANT OR CANNOT CARE FOR ANIMALS, DO NOT GET THEM!!!!
