On Sunday morning, September 6, Cromwell Police responded to the Fox Meadows Condominium Complex about a dog being shot and two children being present.

Ms. Jessica Aurilio said that her boyfriend’s German Shorthaired Pointer jumped a gate to chase a bird.

As her boyfriend was running after the furbaby named Ally, their neighbor, 31-year-old BARDSLEY MONFILSTON (pictured below), pulled out a gun and shot the 10-month-old puppy.

MONFILSTON eventually admitted to shooting Ally.

Sadly, Ally passed away.

Ms. Aurilio said Ally was never a danger to anyone and was the sweetest dog.

Her murderer is facing several charges including animal cruelty, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and two counts of child endangerment.

Despite all the charges, this murderer walked after posting a $10,000 bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Middlesex Superior Court on December 1.

Voice For Us believes that animal abusers should not have the option to post bail/bond and should remain in custody until their trial.

The judge who allowed this murderer to walk is just as guilty as Ally’s killer.
