20-year-old CALEB HICKS (pictured below), was arrested on Wednesday, August 5, after a video shared on social media showed him kicking his dog.
The incident happened in a parking lot at 921 North Zaragoza Road in El Paso.
The video was reported to El Paso Animal Services who alerted the El Paso Police Department and an investigation was immediately launched.
HICKS was seen in the video cowardly and cruelly kicking his 3-year-old Shih Tzu named Teddy.
According to the El Paso PD News Release, after being repeatedly kicked, the poor furbaby is then hurled into the air as he yelps in pain and tumbles into the tire of a nearby parked car.
CALEB HICKS was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $5,000 bond issued by Jail Magistrate Hamilton.
