CARLOS SEPULVEDA arrested after thirty dogs and a cat were rescued from a home filled with feces

On Friday, December 18, Gwinnett County Animal Control responded to a house on Fountain Glen Drive in Lawrenceville about dogs who had escaped the property and were roaming the neighborhood.


Officers found the home to be covered in animal feces and in one of the rooms, there was a young child.


The Gwinnett County Police Department’s Special Victims Unit also responded to the scene and officers found multiple dead animals.


A search warrant was obtained and executed leading to animal control removing from the property 30 live dogs, a cat, and two dead dogs.


The owner of the home, 19-year-old CARLOS SEPULVEDA (pictured below), was arrested for multiple counts of aggravated cruelty to animals, cruelty to animals, and maintaining a disorderly house.


On Monday, December 21, SEPULVEDA was released from the Gwinnett jail on a $8,300 bond.


The Special Victims Unit is continuing to investigate this incident, and according to the police press release, there may be more arrests related to people living inside the house.
