A call about an aggressive dog led to the arrest of 33-years-old CHARITY MICHELLE WALL and 32-years-old JOSEPH KYLE JONES (both pictured).
In a news release, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office said that on July 12, 2023, deputies assisted Randolph County Animal Services with a report about an aggressive dog at a property on Searcy Road Extension.
Outside the residence, responding officers found abandoned malnourished dogs. The sheriff’s office did not disclose the number of dogs but said that two of them were sadly found dead.
The reporting party also told officers that inside the home there were multiple dogs unsupervised.
Officers were able to make contact with the homeowners, WALL and JONES, who allowed them to enter the property. Once inside, officers found a mother dog with her puppies and sadly, two of them were found lifeless.
The sheriff’s office has not shared any additional information about all the furvictims involved in this case.
After an investigation determined that WALL and JONES were the current residents of the property, as well as the dogs’ guardians, charges were sought against them for nine felony counts of cruelty to animals. The magistrate found probable cause and issued arrest warrants for WALL and JONES.
The pair were placed under arrest on July 19, 2023, and transported to Randolph County Detention Center. WALLS was issued a $10,000 secured bond while JONES was hit with a $20,000 secured bond. At this time of writing, records show they are still in custody.
According to online court records, WALL and JONES are scheduled to appear at Randolph County District Court on the morning of Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

These two deserve each other but they DO NOT deserve dogs! I pray they stay in jail for as long as the time these blessed souls were left without food, water, safety.
