How sick and evil do you have to be to pick up a defenseless kitten, strangle him to death, and then bury him in the backyard?
On the evening of Saturday, August 21, Harris County Constable Precinct 1 arrested 27-years-old DAVID ARIAS (pictured below) and charged him with one felony count of cruelty to non-livestock animals (torture).
ARIAS was taken into custody at the 8700 block of Cherie Grove Circle in Northwest Houston after he cruelly tortured and then strangled to death a 3-week-old kitten.
ARIAS then buried the furbaby in the backyard.
The kitten was then placed in the custody of the Houston SPCA for a necropsy.
According to charging documents, ARIAS’ paltry and insulting bond was set at $2,500 out of Harris County Court No. 337.
It’s a proven fact that those monsters who abuse, torture, and kill animals move on to humans, and yet, a lot of judges and lawmakers out there do not seem to get it.
What needs to happen for animal cruelty to be taken seriously and have laws that will inflict on animal abusers the same suffering they inflicted on their victims???
