Manchester Police have announced that 24-year-old ESTEVEN HINCAPIE (pictured below), turned himself in on Wednesday, February 17.
HINCAPIE was wanted in connection with an incident that happened in December 2020.
According to the original story posted by the police on their Facebook page, police responded to a Hayward Street address for a report of a domestic incident on December 29, 2020.
A woman told officers that her boyfriend, HINCAPIE, had been threatening her through text messages, and with one of those messages, he told her he had left her a surprise outside.
When she went outside, she found two severed rabbit heads.
A rabbit head was left on the windshield and another one on a door handle.
Manchester Ink Link reports that according to court documents, HINCAPIE’s girlfriend said he has a history of abusing animals and liked to crush rodents with his hands “because he wanted to see them die.”
The girlfriend said the act was deliberate because she has two pet rabbits.
HINCAPIE has been charged with two counts of cruelty to animals and three counts of criminal threatening.
The second picture is a booking photo taken in 2017.
