The Fall River Police Department said that along with Fall River Animal Control, they are attempting to locate the guardian of a dog who was found abandoned on Ward Street on the night of Sunday, May 7, 2023.
As the distressing pictures show, the furbaby is severely emaciated and police said he has open wounds on his body which required emergency veterinarian care.
Police also said: “It is believed that the dog was dumped out of a black truck.”
Authorities are now reaching out to the public for information that can lead to the guardian being located.
If you recognize the dog or have information about the monster(s) who callously dumped this precious life, please contact Det. Joseph Boyajian at (508) - 676 - 8511 ext. 250. Alternatively, you can call the anonymous TIP Line at (508) - 672 - TIPS (8477).

Hopefully the monsters are still driving that black truck so the assholes will be readily caught. Then if they ‘fell’ out the back of the vehicle…well, I don’t believe too many tears will be shed. Please get better sweet baby soul!
