GENEVA DESIREE NICOLE HONOR arrested for throwing seven puppies out of her trunk into bushes

- Florida, USA -

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-years-old GENEVA DESIREE NICOLE HONOR (pictured), after she admitted to throwing seven innocent puppies into bushes.

According to the arrest affidavit, on February 14, 2023, investigator Bridget Walker with the Marion County Animal Services contacted Agricultural Deputy Manning with the Marion County Sheriff's Office about seven mix breed puppies who had been abandoned at the Humane Society of Marion County on NW 14th Road. She also explained that she had been contacted by Eddy Leedy, director of the Humane Society of Marion County, who gave her video footage showing a red four door vehicle pulling into the shelter parking lot, a female exiting the car, throwing seven puppies out of the trunk, and then leaving.

Thankfully, all the puppies, who are approximately 8 weeks old, are alive!

Deputy Manning met with Investigator Walker to watch the video. Footage showed HONOR reaching into the trunk, grabbing the puppies one by one, tossing them into a patch of bushes at the entrance of the shelter, getting back into the vehicle and leaving. As stated in the arrest affidavit, HONOR hurled the puppies “with force like tossing a bag of garbage into a dumpster.” Thankfully, the video captured the license plate of the vehicle which was registered to HONOR.

Deputy Manning and Investigator Walker responded to HONOR's registered address on 2468 NW 40th Street to speak with her and upon arrival, they noticed the same vehicle, from the video, parked on the east side of the property. Deputy Manning advised HONOR they were there to inquire about the puppies and she stated she took them to the shelter and dropped them off. HONOR then asked: “What was the problem.” Deputy Manning asked HONOR whether she had talked to someone at the shelter and she said no. When Deputy Manning asked HONOR why she did not take the puppies inside, she answered “she did not know what she was supposed to do.”

HONOR went on to say that she was tired of the puppies coming into her yard “pissing and shitting all over, chewing things up under the house and she wanted them gone.”

Investigator Walker asked HONOR whether the puppies were hers and she said “they belonged to her cousin Eugene Mitchell.” HONOR said she had talked to her cousin about removing the puppies and feels she was getting the run around. HONOR further said that she would have taken the two adult dogs as well if she was not afraid of being bitten.

HONOR felt she did not do anything wrong with the puppies and even stated she should have just shot them and been done. Investigator Walker asked HONOR who feeds the dogs and what kind of food is given to them. To that, HONOR answered: “Everyone, I even give them all the table scraps with dog food.” Investigator Walker contacted Eugene Mitchell via telephone. He confirmed the puppies were his and said he had planned to take them to the Humane Society when they were old enough. Investigator Walker told Mitchell what happed to the puppies and informed him that they were at the Humane Society and that after receiving medical care they would be available for adoption.

HONOR was arrested on Thursday, February 16, 2023, and was booked into the Marion County Jail.

Court records show that HONOR is being charged with seven misdemeanor counts of cruelty to animals and seven misdemeanor counts of abandonment of animal.

HONOR was released from jail the day after her arrest.

I have emailed the Marion County Sheriff’s Office to inquire about the puppies’ mom and I was told that there is no reference to that in the report. I was provided with a copy of the arrest affidavit but there is no mention of that either.

I had requested pictures of the puppies but I am told that no photos are available.

Putting aside the fact that this female’s last name couldn’t be more inappropriate, she said she was tired of the puppies and wanted them gone. Well, look at her mugshots below, see how many times she’s been arrested!

Now, imagine if we could say the same thing about her, “I am tired of this society’s vomit. I want her gone!”

I agree with the author of VfU, this human pile of feces has no honor! She is literally a waste of oxygen. She throws helpless puppies into bushes cuz she’s tired of them?! I doubt she ever actually provided care. Now it’s her turn to see how it feels! I hope she’s scared but looking at her arrest record it’s probably just another day that ends in y! Show her this one is different. I pray those babies are okay.

Hi Judy, I had to edit the article after the Marion Sheriff's Office emailed me a copy of the arrest affidavit. I do try to have all the information before I publish a story but it's not always possible. I am really sorry. If you wish to read it again, it has more information. Thank you!
