The Dallas Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance with an animal cruelty investigation.
Police need help locating two individuals who abandoned a helpless dog on the side of the road before driving off.
According to Dallas PD, from a preliminary investigation it emerged that on the early evening of Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 7:50 p.m. the two suspects (pictured), “removed a dog in a black wire crate from a Blue Kia Rio hatchback in the 2400 block of Dowdy Ferry Road.”
The pair then drove away after callously abandoning the poor soul.
Police have not released additional information.
