ISAIAH ELIJA DULANEY BEAVERS arrested for tying his dog to a tree and shooting the dog

- Florida, USA -

On Sunday, March 7, the Cocoa Police Department were called to Bracco Pond Park along Shearer Boulevard regarding a male shooting a dog.

Witnesses reported the shooter taking off in a red Hyundai SUV.

An officer spotted the vehicle and followed it.

The officer noted that the driver threw something into the back of the vehicle and then pulled it over along South Cocoa Boulevard.

The driver, identified as 30-year-old ISAIAH ELIJA DULANEY BEAVERS (pictured below), was placed under arrest.

The officer then proceeded to search the vehicle.

According to FOX 51, the report states: “A Mossberg shotgun fell from the rear portion of the vehicle and onto the ground. Inside the chamber of the shotgun was a spent .410-gauge shotgun shell.”

The officer reported that BEAVERS: “….spontaneously told me that he and his girlfriend had been having some problems with the dog being aggressive and attempting to bite them, and they no longer wanted the dog.”

The report goes on to state that BEAVERS: “……then explained that he tied the dog to a tree and shot the dog with the intent of ending the dog's life.”

FOX 51 reports that: “According to police, it was later learned that the dog would need to undergo surgery to remove its leg after being struck in the shoulder by a bullet.”

According to other news outlets, including Click Orlando, the furbaby was sadly euthanized due to the severe injuries he/she sustained.

The shooter was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He should have been charged with attempted murder or murder depending on the dog’s condition.

BEAVERS was also driving on a suspended license and online records show he has an extensive criminal history that dates back to 2009.

Charges range from battery domestic violence, dealing stolen property, petit theft, grand theft, contempt of court and driving with a suspended license, armed home robbery, solicit prostitution, and now aggravated cruelty to animals.

Well done judges, for letting him out each time!

The shooter is out enjoying freedom he does not deserve and that the innocent dog was deprived of!

Why didn’t you take the dog to a shelter and explain the situation instead of taking it upon yourself to take his/her life?

According to your logic, the same thing should be done to you for your aggressive behavior!!!
