JACOB KENNETH GONSALVES wanted on animal cruelty and aggravated stalking charges

The subject pictured below is 21-year-old JACOB KENNETH GONSALVES and he is wanted by Wilton Manors Police on animal cruelty and aggravated stalking charges.


Wilton Manors Police Department wrote in their Facebook post that on Saturday early morning, January 25, officers responded to an aggravated animal cruelty and aggravated stalking domestic violence incident that happened at Luck’s Inn, on 240 W. Oakland Park Boulevard in Wilton Manors.


The post goes on to say that the victim’s ex-boyfriend, GONSALVES, had been stalking her to the point she abandoned her residence and had been residing at various locations.


It was also determined that the suspect is involved the killing of the victim’s small puppy.


GONSALVES fled the area before responding officers arrived at the scene and he is still at large.


The police describe GONSALVES as a white or Hispanic male, approximately five-feet and six-inches tall and has dark hair.


Please keep in mind that the suspect’s appearance may be altered from the photo provided below.


He was last seen wearing and is believed to still be wearing a black hat, black hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans.


GONSALVES is homeless and known to frequent the area of 4098 N. Andrews Avenue in the City of Oakland Park.


Police say that there is an active warrant for the charges of Aggravated Stalking and Aggravated Animal Cruelty with no bond for GONSALVES and that he is known to be dangerous.


If you see him, do not confront him, but instead notify police.
