On Friday, August 30, Atlanta Police were alerted about an object being on fire in a storm drain.
When officers arrived at the scene, it was determined that a dog had been put inside a box and was burning.
The dog, a small Yorkshire had already died. The furbaby had a cord around his neck.
A police investigation led to the arrest of 29-year-old JESSIE COLLINS.
Collins will be booked into Fulton County jail once warrants are secured.
