- Georgia, USA -
Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston said in a news release that on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 25, deputies along with the local Georgia Department of Community Supervision went to a property on 140 Earl Street in Plainville to conduct a probatory search.
The search led to the discovery of a small dog whose muzzle was tied shut with a plastic “zip tie.”
Officials also found an illegally modified (“sawed off”) shotgun, and methamphetamine, stated the release.
The occupant, 26-years-old JOHNNY EDUARDO NINO (pictured below), was arrested at the scene and charged with one count of aggravated cruelty to animals, one count of possession of methamphetamine, one count of possession of firearm by convicted felon, and one count of possession of sawed-off shotgun, all felonies.
According to the release, NINO was serving a sentence on probation for a previous felony conviction in a neighboring county.
The dog was turned over to Animal Control.
I have emailed Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston to inquire about the furbaby’s well-being. If I get a response, I will post an update.

Send him back to Mexico and let the drug cartel take care of him!! I'm absolutely sick to death of these drug-dealing Mojados committing acts like this to defenseless animals........and humans. He's a coward to do that to a dog.....especially a small dog. Seriously, go back to your f-ed up country where the drug cartel will mercilessly kill a wimp like you. No, you're too afraid and that's why you're hiding out here taking out your aggression on little innocent animals. Pu**y.
It is now time to muzzle nino with a zip tie & see how he likes it. This a**fart must be incarcerated, no excuses! Little Soul please get better.
