On January 6, the Lancaster City Police Department have finally arrested 30-year-old JOSEPH CLAY HUSS JR. (pictured below), on cruelty to animal and harassment charges in relation to an incident that happened on December 14, 2020.
HUSS is accused of attacking another person during a domestic incident in a vehicle at the intersection Chester Road and Fruitville Pike.
Police say that HUSS was sitting in the back seat when he put the driver of the vehicle in a choke hold and then punched them in the head and jaw.
HUSS then turned to the driver’s service dog and let him loose on the street.
The poor furbaby ran across several lanes of traffic and was almost struck by different vehicles.
HUSS fled the area before police arrived.
A criminal complaint was filed against him and an arrest warrant obtained.
When HUSS was finally taken into custody, he was turned over to Manheim Township Police and taken to Central Arraignment.
