Fayette County Sheriff Mike Fridley said that on Thursday, January 28, deputies responded to a home in the Scarbro area to conduct a welfare check after they were alerted by concerning social media posts.
At the residence deputies found conditions inside to be deplorable and intolerable.
There were ten pets and three children living in the home.
In connection with this case, JOSHUA and ANGELA ELDER (both pictured below), were each charged with ten counts of animal cruelty and three counts of child neglect.
Bail has been set at $45,000.
