On Thursday March 16, 2023, the Horry County Police Department was called to a home on the 800 block of Highway 814 in the Myrtle Beach area about a possible death investigation.
Responding officers discovered the naked body of an elderly woman lying in feces on the front porch outside her home.
According to the arrest warrant obtained by Voice For Us, as officers entered the residence, they found the home in deplorable conditions and infested with cockroaches.
According to the report, “The kitchen was infested with bugs and the refrigerator was blocked by garbage and animal cages.”
The bathroom wasn’t accessible because of the amount of garbage that was piled inside of it.
Police discovered a total of sixteen dead animals inside and outside the home, as well as animal cages.
Police reported that six snakes, five cats, four dogs, and one tarantula were found living in “inhumane and unsanitary” conditions.
One white rabbit was found decomposed. Seven snakes and four bearded dragons who were found deceased, appeared to have died from “prolonged neglect .”
Police also found children living inside the property and the hallways to their rooms were so littered with garbage and feces, that officers couldn’t see the floor.
Officers arrested on the scene 37-years-old KRYSTAL ALEXANDRIA PINKOWSKI (pictured), of Myrtle Beach. She was booked into the J. Rueben Long Detention Center and records show she is being held on a $101,000 bond.
On March 18, 2023, PINKOWSKI faced Judge Christopher John Arakas at her bond hearing.
According to online records, PINKOWSKI’s next court appearance is scheduled for April 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.

Bless these babies who died alone, hungry, & frightened. Obviously something was very wrong at that house. I’m glad someone finally checked.
