⚠️WARNING⚠️The article contains details some of you may find distressing⚠️

On Tuesday, December 5, 2023, Miami police arrested 31-years-old LINDSAY VALCIN for murdering an innocent dog.

According to the Affidavit obtained by Voice For Us, on November 29, 2023, Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department Animal Welfare Officer Hernandez was called to assist a City of Miami Police Department case in reference to an animal cruelty incident.

Officer Hernandez responded to an apartment on 750 Northwest 69th Street and learned from the police officer that a witness saw her downstairs neighbor, VALCIN, grabbing her dog, a small female Yorkie mix, by the tail, throwing the dog against the balcony wall, and hitting the dog with a shopping cart. The witness provided police with a video recording of the incident.

Police said the video showed a “partially nude” VALCIN punching the dog several times while saying, “You dumb b----.”

The dog could be heard “screeching” and “crying” during the attack.

Police also said that VALCIN “is then seen grabbing the dog by her tail and slamming her into the glass door on the balcony” and could be heard asking the dog, “Why the f--- would you do that?

The video further showed VALCIN grabbing the dog by her head and slamming her into the glass door many times, while saying, “You f---ing dumb b----.”

From that point on, the furvictim could no longer be heard crying. VALCIN then proceeded to throw the Innocent Soul to the ground in the corner of the balcony. But VALCIN’s evilness did  not stop there. In fact, police said that she takes a red shopping cart and rams it into the dog’s body, then picks up the lifeless dog and slams the furbaby into the glass one last time.

Police said that in the video, VALCIN kept calling the deceased dog vulgar names. She can be heard saying: “Keep f---ing with my s---” and “If you f---ing die, oh well.”

The filthy murderer then goes back inside the apartment leaving the dog on the balcony in a fetal position, silent and not moving, presumed to be deceased.

Officer Hernandez and the police officer made contact with VALCIN and questioned her.

Initially, VALCIN lied to the officers and said that her mother had possession of the dog at the time but her mother belied her statement.

The following day, Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department Anti Cruelty Investigator Diaz questioned VALCIN about the dog’s whereabouts and VALCIN claimed that the dog had been stolen. According to the complaint, VALCIN “appeared nervous and did not respond when asked if the dog was disposed of in the garbage”.

Later on, that day, Investigator Diaz spoke with Latasha Smith, the manager of the

apartment building where VALCIN lives and Ms. Smith stated that she had given the dog to VALCIN as a gift. Investigator Daiz then obtained surveillance video from Ms. Smith.

According to the complaint, the footage showed VALCIN “carrying a black garbage bag out of her apartment and depositing the bag in a large dumpster located approximately 150 yards from the apartment building.”

When Investigator Diaz searched the contents of the dumpster, he discovered the remains of VALCIN’s dog inside of a black garbage bag.

Investigator Diaz took the Voiceless Victim to the Animal Services Department Forensic Service where Dr. Maria Serrano, Chief Forensic Veterinarian, performed a necropsy.

The complaint stated: “Dr. Serrano concluded that the cause of death was blunt force trauma, and that the manner of death was a base skull fracture.”

The complaint goes on to state that VALCIN “cruelly treated and caused the death of her dog” and that she “is unfit to have custody of any animal.”

VALCIN was arrested on one count of animal cruelty with intent to injure or kill and booked into the Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation Center. On Wednesday, December 6, 2023, the murderer appeared in bond court where she was appointed a public defender and granted a $5,000 bond. The murderer was ordered to not have no contact with animals.

I contacted Miami-Dade County Animal Services and requested additional information about the furvictim and I was told: “The only information I was able to obtain on this dog is that it was a female, black and brown Yorkshire Terrier mix. Because this is still part of an ongoing case, the rest of the information, including the name, approximate age, and photos taken of the pet, are not available.”

I took the liberty of naming the Voiceless Victim Poinsettia for the tribute image. Should her given name be made public, I will rectify it accordingly.

VALCIN, you deserve to be repeatedly slammed against the bars of your cell and “If you f---ing die, oh well.”
