TERRY ROBINSON arrested after police found a dead dog and a severely malnourished dog in his yard

- Oklahoma, USA -

On Sunday, January 10, Ardmore Police were called about a possible car burglary and officers responded to a house in the 100 block of S Street Northeast to investigate.

When officers searched the back of the property, they found two malnourished dogs.

One was sadly deceased.

Ardmore Police Department Captain Claude Henry said: “The deceased dog had bones protruding from its skin and also appeared to be malnourished.”

As for the living dog, Capt. Henry said: “Officers stated that they could see the spine, the rib cage and the hip bones that made up the profile of the animal. The animal didn’t seem to have any energy and was very slow to move. It was in poor condition.”

Capt. Henry also said there were no food or water bowls near the dogs.

The Department spokesperson rightfully said: “It's very vital for animals -- especially outside animals -- to have a source of shelter, food and water, especially during the winter months.”

Capt. Henry stated that “There are laws in place to make sure that owners take care of these animals if they're going to have them, and it's not just about putting your dog outside and just letting it sit out there and freeze and starve to death.”

Following an investigation police identified 53-year-old TERRY ROBINSON (pictured below), as the dogs’ guardian.

ROBINSON was questioned about the furbabies and officers felt that they had enough evidence to arrest him for animal cruelty.

ROBINSON was transported to the Carter County jail.

KTEN reports that on Monday, January 11, ROBINSON was charged with two felony counts of cruelty to animals.

The Daily Ardmoreite reports that Capt. Henry said: “This is certainly an interest that we’re going to continue to have in outside animalsensuring that the owners are taking care of them. It’s just one of those things that people need to understand, with ownership of any type of animal there’s also a responsibility that they need to uphold.”

Ardmore Animal Care is caring for the living furbaby.

In a fair world ROBINSON would be thrown in a jail cell without water, food, and medical care until the end of his worthless existence instead of WASTING money on a criminal!
