The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office announced that following the heartbreaking video showing a defenseless dog being thrown in a dumpster, two subhumans are behind bars, which is not really where they belong because feces like that belong in hell!
The footage was retrieved from the local day care center Children’s Academy East.
The video shows 40-years-old JASON KEITH KELLEY (pictured below), dragging a dog to a dumpster, he then lifts up the furbaby by the leash, and dumps the helpless soul in the dumpster.
The video goes on to show KELLEY walking away, he then goes back to the dumpster to close the lid, and walks toward a white vehicle.
After an investigation, the sheriff’s office tracked down KELLEY and 41-years-old TONYA MARIE TRAPP (also pictured below), on Wednesday, August 18.
Thankfully, the dog was found alive by employees of the Children’s Academy East.
KELLEY and TRAPP are in no way affiliated with the daycare center, reports WRGA.
The sheriff’s office said in a news release that this case came to them as a result of their partnership with Floyd County PAWS.
KELLEY and TRAPP were both charged with aggravated animal cruelty and probation violation.
According to online records, the pair, of 32 Covered Springs Drive NE in Rome, are being held without bond.
While the sheriff’s office commended Deputy Jeremy Clay for his quick and thorough investigation of the situation, hundreds of people are expressing their gratitude to the sheriff’s for these arrests.
