On Thursday, July 29, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received a report of animal abuse on Burch Road in Queensbury.
An investigation determined that 48-year-old WILLIAM CHARLES DINGMAN (pictured below) , had abandoned a dog, a pig, and two bearded dragons.
The animals were seized by the SPCA of Upstate New York and are said to be in good health.
NEWS10 reports that police located DINGMAN and charged him with eight misdemeanor counts of animal abuse under the Agriculture and Markets Law.
DINGMAN, of Glens Falls, is currently being held at the Warren County Jail on a parole revocation.
DINGMAN is due back in Queensbury Town Court at a later date to be arraigned on the animal abuse charges.
