A couple traveling to New York, were at the Isle of Man airport when airport security pulled them aside to investigate the content of their carry-on.

Voirrey and Nick Coole were ushered to the interrogation room and to their surprise their cat Candy popped out of the bag!

She appeared on the security monitor!

The couple said they have three cats, but Candy is the one who likes to get into bags and boxes.

The bag was left empty because the Cooles intended to bring back gifts and they did not realize that Candy had snuck into it.

The airport security staff was very understanding about the whole event. The arranged for the furry passenger to be picked up so that Voirrey and Nick could go ahead and begin their vacation.

Candy probably thought: “Oh well, I tried!”

Thankfully, Candy was discovered, and a potential tragedy avoided.

How many of us have caught our children in our car playing grown-ups pretending to drive? How many of us have caught our dog driving for real?

Mrs. and Mr. Janie and Jim Black left their dog Duke in their Mercedes with his leash on. Somehow the leash tangled up around the gearshift pulling the car into neutral.

Duke was free to ride! He did! He smashed into a retaining wall knocking down some trash cans, and a mail box in the process. This happened on August 31, in Aptos.

As funny as it might sound for some, the good news is that Duke was not hurt.

If there had been people around or children playing, I would probably be writing something different today.

Please do not leave your furbabies unsupervised.

Oops, Duke what have you done?

On a warm day how good is it to get in a car and drive on a highway with your arm sticking out to feel the breeze?

You look into other people’s cars and……...just have your phone ready, you never know what you might capture!

Savannah Bostic and her boyfriend Jermaine White were driving along Suncoast Boulevard in Homosassa on Sunday afternoon, June 2, when a white car with an ‘unusual’ passenger passed them.

There was a raccoon hanging out of the window enjoying the ride with his human mom Trisha Dunavant.

Trisha adopted this furbaby named Hank Williams when he was two weeks old after he fell out of a tree and was abandoned by his mom.

For those of you who don’t know this, having a raccoon as a pet is not illegal in Florida, although it may be uncommon.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says that a permit is needed to own a raccoon.
