ALLEXIS TELIA FERRELL accused of torturing, killing, and eating a cat in front of people

27-year-old ALLEXIS TELIA FERRELL (pictured), is scheduled to appear at Stark County Common Pleas Court on October 15, 2024, at 8:00 a.m.

 

Charging documents obtained by Voice For Us accuse FERRELL, society’s vomit, of killing a cat by stomping on his/her small head and then eating the creature.

 

According to the investigative report by the Canton Police Department, on the late evening of August 16, 2024, officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of 13th Street SE where FERRELL “did torture, kill, and eat a cat in a [residential] area in front of multiple people.”

 

Upon arrival, officers found FERRELL with her hands on a cat whose head appeared to have been smashed in. In the bodycam video provided to Voice For Us, an officer can be heard saying: “What did you do? Why did you kill the cat?”

 

From the investigation it emerged that FERRELL “had smashed the cat[']s head with her foot and then began to eat the cat.” One of the officers wrote on the report: “I did observe

 blood on Allexis' feet, hands, and fur on her lips.”

 

One of the officers placed the filthy murderer under arrest and transported her to the Stark County Jail and booked her on felony charges of cruelty to a companion animal.

 

The other officers remained on the scene and secured the furvictim as evidence. The humane society also responded to the scene and picked up the Voiceless Victim.

 

On August 21, 2024, a Stark County grand jury indicted FERRELL. On August 23, 2024, she pleaded not guilty.

Online records show that FERRELL is still in custody, and Canton Police confirmed that in an email.

 

The cat’s gender is not known and I struggled to find a unisex name to pay tribute to this Innocent Soul. In the end, I chose Twain, after Mark Twain who had up to nineteen cats and loved them all more than he loved people.

Investigation underway after photo of malnourished dog chained to a car circulated on social media

The Ider Police Department launched an investigation after a picture showing a severely malnourished dog chained to a vehicle circulated on social media.

 

In a Facebook post, police said the dog’s guardian violated the “newly established ‘Responsible pet ownership ordinance’ as well as State Law for animal cruelty.”

 

According to police, four dogs were impounded from the property but did not elaborate on their status nor disclosed additional information.

The post stated, “The four animals have been taken to a local animal shelter where they will be provided care, and have much needed food and shelter.”

 

Police Chief Stephen Malone explained that the ordinance was drafted to allow the department to legally assess more animal complaints and issue court notices if animals are not properly cared for or are aggressive.

 

In a statement, Chief Malone said:

This is not a “Leash Law”. Our department will not be patrolling for animals not on the owners property, but yet will provide us a way to handle said situations if there are complaints of trespassing or viciousness.

We’ve had several incidents and complaints recently of dogs killing livestock and being aggressive towards children and our older residents. Unfortunately, to the point they are afraid to be outside of their homes. With our new ordinance we thankfully have the legal authority to intervene.

I truly appreciate our community having faith in our Police Department, no matter the complaint we will always provide our services as quickly and efficiently as possible regardless of what kind of life it may be, we are here to protect it.

 

The dogs’ guardian, whose identity was not revealed, was issued a court summons.

 

I have emailed Police Chief Stephen Malone to inquire about all of the furvictims, but at the time of writing, I have not heard back from him.

JEREMIAH WILLIAMS and JOHN AUEN arrested for murdering a Virginia opossum

The Wetumpka Police Department arrested 18-year-old JEREMIAH WILLIAMS and 20-year-old JOHN AUEN (both pictured).

 

Police Chief Ed Reeves said the duo “beat a possum to death with a golf club”, reports The Wetumpka Herald.

 

The incident took place in the lower parking lot of the Wetumpka City Administration Building that is used as one of the entrances to Gold Star Park.

 

According to The Wetumpka Herald, on the evening of Tuesday, September 10, 2024, “Witnesses found a scene they couldn’t believe.”

 

Chief Reeves told the news agency: “I’ve never seen this before”. He said that in his law enforcement career he has investigated many strange things but nothing like this.

 

Online arrest records maintained by the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office show that the filthy murderers were booked on September 10, 2024, on one count of animal cruelty and released less than two hours after their arrest.

 

No additional information was released about the case. At the time of writing, Chief Ed Reeves has not responded to my email request for further details about the investigation.
