On April 10, 2025, Douglas County District judge Todd Engleman found 27-year-old LERONN D. SAMUEL (pictured) guilty of animal cruelty and sentenced him to ONLY NINETY DAYS in jail with credit for fifty-nine days served.

SAMUEL was found guilty of drowning an innocent and defenseless dog named Tyger on February 10, 2025.

Officers with the Omaha Police Department responded to an apartment near 25th and I streets where they found Tyger’s guardian “visibly upset screaming, kicking, and punching the door to the apartment building.”

Tyger was found lifeless inside the ensuite bathroom of a bedroom in the apartment.

According to the officers, the bathtub was full of water and there was water all over the floor of the bathroom. Officers said that SAMUEL had wet shorts.

SAMUEL told officers that he did not do anything and claimed that Tyger attacked him.

Tyger’s guardian, Destiny Knowlton, later organized a GoFundMe to get help pay for Tyger’s cremation and burial. She explained that Tyger was a service dog and that she and her boyfriend got him for their daughter’s medical condition.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested 57-year-old ALISON AGATHA LAWRENCE (pictured).

LAWRENCE’s arrest is the result of an atrocious act of animal cruelty that led to death of an innocent dog.

On December 16, 2024, officers with the Orlando Police Department were called after a cleaning staff employee at Orlando International Airport discovered a deceased Poodle in a trash can in the women’s restroom.

An investigation connected LAWRENCE to the incident and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Reportedly, LAWRENCE did not have the correct paperwork to board her dog and instead of reaching out to someone to come and pick up the dog, she drowned the Innocent Soul.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested LAWRENCE at her Clermont home on March 18, 2025. She is facing one felony count of aggravated animal cruelty. LAWRENCE was released after posting a $5,000 bond.

Authorities did not disclose the Voiceless Victim’s name, so I took the liberty of naming him/her Biscuit for the tribute image. Should his/her given name be made public, I will rectify it accordingly.

The Cobb County Police Department arrested 31-years-old TIMORRA INSHALLA ROGO (pictured).

ROGO is accused of drowning her own dog who was found in the Chattahoochee River.

Mr. Stephen Hammond, Director of Cobb County Animal Services, tells me that the furvictim was discovered on July 11, 2023, “in the river near the boat ramp at Paces Mill Park by park workers.” Mr. Hammond explained that “...The river had been shut down due to contamination for about 10 days prior.”

He identified the furvictim as a 2-year-old male English Bulldog named Hodor.

Hodor was placed in a cage along with rocks with the evil intention of drowning the helpless soul. Mr. Hammond said: “Two rocks weighing about 8 pounds had been used to weigh down the cage.” Upon finding the cage, park workers alerted Animal Services and Hodor “was impounded as evidence.”

Hodor’s body was then sent to UGA for a necropsy. It took a while for the report to come back because there are so many animal cruelty cases that sadly have horrible endings. Results showed that Hodor died from drowning.

“Detective Whitley, our Animal Cruelty Investigator from the Cobb County Police Department took over the case and through his investigation was able to identify and locate the owner and perpetrator”, further explained Mr. Hammond.

ROGO was arrested on the late evening of April 18, 2024, and charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals. At the time of writing, records show that ROGO is being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. A Cobb County Judge denied bond.

Mr. Hammonds did not send me Hodor’s pictures as they are “too graphic to share.”
